It’s every parent’s worst nightmare: their child being hurt by someone else. This is what happened to Ivy Patterson, a seven-year-old girl who was beaten up on the playground by a teenager named Sarah Florimo. Ivy was simply selling lemonade at her stand with friends when Sarah approached her and punched her in the side of her face, scratched her, and pulled her hair.

The incident took place in Hockey Avenue, Smithfield, and Ivy’s mother was understandably furious. She searched for the group of teenagers who had attacked her daughter and even had a photo of Sarah in a red Adidas shirt. What’s worse, Ivy’s mother later found out that Sarah had recorded the assault and was planning to circulate the video. The video shows Sarah stomping on Ivy’s head, making the situation even more horrifying.
It’s clear that Sarah Florimo has some serious issues, and her parents need to step up and address them. Assaulting a seven-year-old girl is unacceptable, and Sarah needs to learn that violence is never the answer. The police were called, and they are now involved in the case. Ivy’s mother is urging anyone who sees the video to save and send it to the police.
