The month of October has been a busy month for music. Some music to be excited about this month are Adele’s new single that teases her most-anticipated and allegedly her most heartfelt album yet (however that could ever be possible when she’s already broken hearts through Chasing Pavements), FINNEAS’s studio album, “Optimist” and PinkPantheress’ debut album, “To Hell With It.”

“…All my friends know”

The English singer-songwriter first gained popularity on TikTok when her songs “Pain” and “Just For Me” went viral on the social media app. Soon, she was signed to Parlophone Records and Elektra Records and released a few more singles before she released her debut album “To Hell With It” in early October. Her album, which is only twenty minutes long, offers a mixture of bedroom pop, two-step garage, and dance. Each song does not last more than three minutes– a creative choice that is both odd and clever. Her song “…All my friends know” is the eighth track from her album which boasts beats reminiscent of the early 2000s. Aptly, she calls her style the “new nostalgic.”
“Easy On Me”

Adele is back with yet another soul-crushing song that fits perfectly to fall’s gloomy atmosphere. Easy On Me is the lead single from her upcoming fourth album, 30. She hits us with a signature ballad that will surely break you. And if her voice is not enough, perhaps the lyrics and the themes of the song will do the job. Her new album that is coming out on November 19 is about her recent failed marriage and the inner turmoil she felt. In an interview with Vogue UK, she said that this album is her way of answering her son’s questions about life and relationships.

Celebrate the beginning of Scorpio season with Charlotte Cardin’s new single from her upcoming Phoenix Deluxe album. Charlotte Cardin is a Montreal-based artist who recently headlined OSHEAGA. Her latest single “Scorpio Season” offers the same intensity as the astrological sign. It’s sensual, floaty, and emotional just like your typical water sign.

“IDFWFEELINGS”

UPSAHL is an American singer-songwriter from Phoenix, AZ. She’s known for her multi-instrumental indie and alternative musical style. “IDFWFEELINGS” is the seventh track in her debut album, Lady Jesus. Other notable songs from the album are “Last Supper” and “Thriving.”
