Lighten your load this holiday season by letting your kids take charge in the kitchen with easy holiday recipes that will make everyone proud.
Lacia-Paige Cummings, a Canadian high school student and sustainability advocate created a holiday menu focusing on an easy appetizer and desserts to get kids excited about cooking and give parents some much needed downtime.
Lacia’s commitment to food and sustainability recently won her $500 from Tre Stelle’s Cheese4Change sustainable food youth program, which receives hundreds of entries from Canadian students each year. This annual competition encourages students to share their sustainable recipes, offering $500 to winning students and $5,000 to winning schools!
Inspired by her big win, Lacia created a new holiday menu featuring recipes from the all-new Tre Stelle App, Bites by Tre Stelle. She hopes to empower kids to get involved in the kitchen, making choices that are good for the planet and the generations to come.
