Ethan Slater’s Estranged Wife Speaks About Her Divorce Drama

Lilly Jay breaks her silence on her estranged husband’s new relationship with Ariana Grande.

Last week, the news broke about Ariana Grande dating her ‘Wicked’ costar, Ethan Slater. Here’s the thing… both Ethan and Ariana are still legally married to their now exes. Ethan Slater’s estranged wife, Lilly Jay, is the first out of the bunch to break the silence surrounding the new couple, and she’s not happy about any of it.

Ethan Slater filed for divorce this past Wednesday allegedly “blindsiding” his estranged wife with the news. Lilly Jay has spoken directly to several news outlets saying that she has been “watching with horror” as new reports on the couple come in, and that she’s doing her best to “navigate a spotlight” she has “never wanted or experienced before”.

Lilly says she is just focused on “being a good mom” and that this story is about “her [Ariana] and Dalton”, referring to Ariana’s marriage with her estranged husband Dalton Gomez. Jay adds that her family is “collateral damage” in Ariana’s story and Ariana’s simply “not a girl’s girl.”

An anonymous insider revealed that Jay is “a wreck” and they believe Ariana is the reason for their divorce because “nothing appeared wrong” between the two beforehand. But it has also been confirmed that “Grande and Slater began dating months ago, after they both had already separated from their spouses”.

This same source said that Lilly Jay is “rightfully upset because her marriage fell apart, but Ariana and Ethan didn’t do anything wrong”.
