We all know that most celebrities have plenty of money to spare… and many have more than they actually know what to do with. One of the ways some like to spend their spare cash is by playing and betting online – whether spinning the reels at online casinos or betting on sporting events at online betting sites such as Boylesports who provide their players with the best odds and markets.

There are no doubt plenty that enjoy a flutter in privacy – those that prefer to keep their gambling secrets hush-hush. However, some make no effort to hide it. In fact, some have openly expressed their interest in betting.

Here are a few celebrities who are well-known to enjoy spending their money gambling online:

Ben Affleck

It may be that new(ish) wifey, JLo has curbed this part of his life but Affleck was always known to be an avid card player and has been spotted playing poker in both land-based casinos and online platforms.

He has shown a particular affinity for high-stakes poker and has taken his place in some seriously prestigious tournaments. His passion for the game has certainly generated a headline or two – and he has earned a reputation as a skilled player.

Floyd Mayweather Jr.

The retired boxing champion is known for his insanely extravagant lifestyle – and his love for gambling is no exception… he plays big and he plays hard. Mayweather has been very open about his betting habits – and has often shared his winning bets on social media. He has placed massive bets on various sports events, including high-profile boxing matches.

Tobey Maguire

Maguire, known for his portrayal of Spider-Man, is an accomplished poker player and has tried to use his spidey senses to help him in high-stakes cash games and tournaments, both in physical casinos and online.

Maguire’s poker skills have earned him a reputation as a formidable player in the celebrity poker circuit.

Charlie Sheen

If there is a pastime that has even a shade of controversy, Sheen will certainly have shown an interest at some time or another. The actor known for his roles in television shows like “Two and a Half Men,” has a history of spending his money on gambling activities. While he has been known to enjoy casino gambling, including table games and slot machines, it’s likely he also enjoys a flutter in sports as well.

Pamela Anderson

The actress and model, famous for her roles in “Baywatch” and “Home Improvement,” has shown an interest in online poker. When she isn’t wearing a swimming costume and running slow-mo down the beach, she has participated in several poker tournaments and has been affiliated with several online poker platforms.

Michael Phelps

The most decorated Olympian in history, Phelps is another one that has openly expressed his love for gambling, particularly poker. Although he is better known for his swimming prowess, he has also taken part in high-profile poker events and, like a true Olympian, enjoys the competitive nature of the game.

Matt Damon

Affleck’s closest buddy, Matt Damon, known for his roles in movies like “Good Will Hunting” and the “Bourne” series, seems to share his interest in poker. Damon has participated in celebrity poker tournaments and has showcased his poker skills on various occasions. He may not be as well-known for it as Affleck, but he is certainly a regular.

Ashton Kutcher

Last on our list is Ashton Kutcher – the actor and producer, known for his roles in “That ’70s Show” and “Two and a Half Men,”. Like his Two and a Half Men predecessor, Sheen, Kutcher has been involved in online poker and has played in celebrity poker tournaments. He has been very vocal in sharing his enjoyment of the game.

These are just some of the celebrities that like to spend their money playing casino games and placing bets online – but there are plenty more. But whilst it can be fun, it is also something that needs to be controlled – even if you do have plenty of money at your disposal. So, even if you do have the bank account of a celebrity, enjoy – but be careful and just have fun.
