This false information supposedly started through a Facebook page named “R.I.P Travis Scott.” The “About” section on the Facebook page about the rapper’s alleged death claimed the below (as previously reported here):

At about 11 a.m. ET on Monday (September 25, 2023), our beloved rapper Travis Scott passed away. Travis Scott was born on April 30, 1992 in Houston. He will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page.

However, what people did not realize was that this news was not confirmed by any news sources. In this regard, people left a collection of condolences and messages grieving Scott’s alleged death on the page.

As HOLR previously reported, his team also allegedly issued this statement to clarify that this news was not true:

He [Travis Scott] joins the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax. He’s still alive and well, stop believing what you see on the Internet.”
