That seems to be the case at this year’s 96th Academy Awards ceremony. Actress Emily Blunt took to the red carpet to show off a stunning gown that came complete with floating straps that sat just above her shoulders. As you can see in this TikTok video posted by user @gqmexico, the actress looked radiant but seemingly rocked a new fashion trend during the show.
According to this Glamour article, Blunt wore a Schiaparelli gown and Alexandre Birman shoes to the highly-anticipated event. She also accessorized with a Judith Leiber clutch and Tiffany & Co. jewels. Blunt was up for Best Actress In a Supporting Role for her part in Oppenheimer, this year, but Da’Vine Joy Randolph took home the award in this category for “The Holdovers.”
