One month after having an aneurysm, Jackie Miller James woke from a medically-induced coma.
Jackie Miller James was nine months pregnant when she experienced the aneurysm. On Sunday, a post on her Instagram account announced she had woken up from the medically-induced coma and was reunited with her baby.

“We are beyond thrilled to share that your loving prayers for Jackie have been working! Jackie is awake and was recently transferred to one of the best neurological rehabilitation hospitals in the country.” the post reads.
“The doctors have been pleased upon her latest tests, numbers, and evaluations, noting that Jackie is performing above expectations at this stage of her recovery and is progressing more with every passing day.” it continues.
Jackie Miller James was due to give birth to her baby girl when she was found unconscious in her home by her husband, People notes. Because of a “ruptured aneurysm,” Jackie had to undergo brain surgery after having an emergency C-section for her newborn, Knoxly Rose.
“Jackie & Austin’s baby girl is a constant source of light for the entire family and continues to grow into a happy, healthy, and animated little angel. Jackie has also recently been reunited with her baby, and spends a great deal of each day with her entire family while in the hospital.” the post added.
According to the same source, Jackie was induced into a coma and experienced “five brain procedures.”
