A horrific incident occurred on March 16th, 2023, involving Kirra Hart, a 14-year-old girl from Queensland, Australia. A video of the assault, which shows Kirra being repeatedly punched, kicked, and dragged by a group of teenagers, has been circulating on social media and has sparked widespread outrage and disbelief.

Kirra was known for her love of animals and her bubbly personality. On the day of the incident, she received an invitation to a sleepover from several girls she believed to be her friends. They invited her into their house and then subjected her to hours of torture. They repeatedly sliced and stabbed her with a knife, in addition to punching and slapping her.

The video footage of the incident, captured on a mobile phone, shows Kirra being brutally attacked by three girls named Rhynisha Grech, Shanaya Grech, and Chloe Denman. Despite Kirra’s screams and pleas for them to stop, the violence continued for several minutes. The footage is graphic and distressing, and it has been widely condemned by politicians, community leaders, and the public.

After the attack, Kirra’s parents found her severely injured and bleeding. She was rushed to the hospital with a broken nose and a fractured skull.

The three girls responsible for Kirra’s beating were only fined and warned due to their young age. This has prompted outrage, and a petition has been created to express disgust at the abominably low punishment they received.
