After failing to qualify for the UEFA Champions League, Manchester United star striker Cristiano Ronaldo is likely to be transferred. after notably, complaining about his current club and requesting a transfer, Cristiano had many failed transfer attempts last summer window.

Once again, Cristiano is attempting to force his way out of his club. While many sides, both European and not, would love to have the 37-year-old’s services, only a few sides have a shot to sign Ronaldo.

Ronaldo to Chelsea:

Given that Chelsea requires a proven goalscorer signing one of the greatest goalscorers of all time would greatly improve their chances of acquiring silverware this year. Slotting in perfectly next to another recent signing of Raheem Sterling, Ronaldo would provide much-needed explosiveness and the goal-scoring ability for a Chelsea team that is sorely lacking in shooting ability up top.

With the recent success of Kepa, their ever-strong defense and midfield play, and Ronaldo, Mason Mount, and Raheem Sterling in the attack, Chelsea would resume their reign as one of the premier sides in the world.

New owner Todd Boehly already met Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, at the end of June with Ronaldo’s availability among the topics of discussion, per The Athletic’s David Ornstein.

Although that meeting did not bear fruit, the need for Ronaldo and Chelsea is sure to have Mendes’ number on speed dial.

Ronaldo to A.C Milan:

With Rafael Leao most likely securing a move,  The Rossoneri are in need of a primary scoring option to supplement their prolific defense and midfield.

As of last July Ronaldo had been “Offered” to A.C Milan, establishing a connection between the Italian side and Ronaldo. Although Milan will not be able to pay Ronaldo as much as he is earning at Old Trafford, Milan will be able to provide Ronaldo with a return to Serie A, Champions League soccer, and success at the domestic and international levels.

Since Ronaldo’s transfer to Milan is dependent on Jorge Mendes shipping off Leao, the soccer world will have to wait and see if this will transpire.

Ronaldo to Sporting Portugal:

Continuing on his reunion tour, there is a possibility that Ronaldo returns to where it all began at the finale of his career. Starting his career at Sporting Portugal, Ronaldo used the Portuguese side to demonstrate his stardom earning a move to Old Trafford.

Both Ronaldo’s mother and Jorge Mendes wish for Ronaldo to return to Portugal at the twilight of his career. As well, Sporting Portugal’s management has not been shy about their interest in Ronaldo, always making it publicly known that they would love to have him return.

This would be a fitting end for the career of one of the greatest soccer players to ever step on the pitch.

Ronaldo stays at Manchester United:

Even though Ronaldo has made it public that he wishes to leave United, most teams cannot afford to pay him what he wants. Ronaldo’s biggest blessing in his negotiations is that he has a gargantuan contract to fall back on. If he is unable to find another team that is willing to sign him it is likely that he stays at United and ceases his endless complaints.
