The Summer I Turned Pretty Teaser

Prime Video recently released a teaser trailer ahead of the show’s June premiere. The one-minute teaser shows the highly anticipated summer at Cousin’s Beach. With Taylor Swift’s “This Love (Taylor’s Version)” (which was an exclusive first listen before its worldwide release) playing in the background, it perfectly echoes the exhilarating emotions of finding first love and the heartbreak that comes with it.

Jenny Han is also known for her other published works including the Burn for Burn and To All The Boys trilogy. The latter was adapted into a trilogy movie starring Lana Condor and Noah Centineo. Unsurprisingly, the movie franchise garnered massive success and became a Netflix original hit, so much so that Netflix recently announced a spin-off series called XO, Kitty. The series will follow—you guessed it—-Lara Jean’s younger sister Kitty. Han will act as the executive producer and co-showrunner of the show, similar to her role in Prime Video’s The Summer I Turned Pretty.
