Netflix recently released Segura’s new comedy special “Sledgehammer” so the internet can’t stop talking about the American comedian.

So, why is Segura trending? His basketball injury from 2020 is resurfacing as a topic of discussion amid his new Netflix special launching.
Allegedly, Segura was playing basketball with Bert Kreischer in 2020 when he attempted to dunk a basketball as mentioned here. However, during the dunk, Segura reportedly slipped and fell on his arm which ended up causing a fracture. The video of the incident was supposedly very graphic and Segura required surgery as a result of the fracture caused by the dunk attempt.

Supposedly, YouTube removed the video for being too graphic although it is still circulating online, as noted here.
