In a burst of TikTok videos, different women posted clips sharing that they got randomly attacked in the streets of NYC. Each story seemed similar, which depicted that these women were just walking down the street and suddenly got punched in the face by a man in NYC.

In a since-deleted comment on a TikTok video of fashion design student Mikayla Toninato sharing her experience being assaulted, Frankel revealed she was allegedly randomly punched on a Manhattan street earlier this year, also.

“This is insane bc this happened to me a few months ago but I was embarrassed to say,” the SkinnyGirl founder, wrote Tuesday. “I was on the UWS. Insane. I was taking a video of a bakery.”

The NYPD confirmed the incident to The Post, saying a 23-year-old woman had reported an assault at West 16th Street and 7th Avenue at 10:20 a.m. Monday.

This past week, the New York Police Department reportedly arrested a man they said was involved in at least one of the attacks. “The NYPD is aware of a viral video circulating on social media depicting a woman who was randomly assaulted in an unprovoked attack,” the NYPD posted on their official X, formerly Twitter, account. “The individual has been arrested and charged and is a criminal recidivist with an extensive criminal record.”
