“All The Light We Cannot See” is based on World War II starring Mark Ruffalo.

The officer trailer of “All The Light We Cannot See” was dropped earlier today. It stars Louis Hoffman, Mark Ruffalo, Hugh Laurie, Lars Eidenger and Aria Mia Loberti making her acting debut with this series. Directed by Shawn Levy, also the executive producer with Dan Levine and Steven Knight.

The film is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning bestseller of the same name by Anthony Doerr. It takes us back to the World War II era when a blind French girl Marie-Laure (Aria Mia Loberti), takes up residence in St. Malo, France, with her father, Daniel (Mark Ruffalo). She starts broadcasting against the Nazis. Following the footsteps of her uncle (Hugh Laurie). Despite it could get her killed.

“I know that broadcasting could get me executed, but I will not be silenced,” Marie-Laure says.

Meanwhile, Marie-Laure crosses paths with a German soldier, Werner (Louis Hoffman), who is forcefully fighting for the Nazis. He was ordered to find and kill Marie-Laure.

The series consists of only four episodes. Last month, it premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.
