The Pharmaceutical drama stars Emily Blunt and Chris Evans.

Netflix drops the teaser of Pain Hustlers, which will be released in selected theatres on October 20 and streaming on Netflix on October 27. It stars Emily Blunt, Chris Evans and Catherine O’Hara.

Emily Blunt plays a single mother, Liza Drake, who is struggling to support her daughter. Until she gets a new job in a pharmaceutical start-up. However, she gets stuck in an illegal racketeering scheme along with Pete Brenner, a pharmaceutical sales rep played by Chris Evans.

In the teaser, we see Liza’s quest for a better future takes her to heights she never imagined. The pair Liza and Pete make a huge profit from the opioid crisis. The teaser also gives a warning that Pain Hustlers can cause Increased Energy, Elevated Mood, Ecstasy, Paranoid, Aggression and Greed.

The story is adapted from an article in New York Times Magazine by Evan Hughes on the subsequent book, Pain Hustlers: Crime and Punishment at an Opioid Startup by Evan Hughes. Written by Wells Tower and directed by David Yates. He directed the last four films of the Harry Potter series and Fantastic Beasts films.
