It’s the sequel to the 2018 film Aquaman starring Jason Momoa.

Warner Bros. has ended the wait for all the Aquaman fans by releasing the first trailer for “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.” Jason Momoa is back as Aquaman. It’s the sequel to Aquaman, which is the highest-grossing DC movie of all time. Alongside Momoa, the movie stars Patrick Wilson, Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. James Wan is back as the director.Previously, he has directed movies like Saw, Insidious, Insidious: Chapter 2, The Conjuring, The Conjuring 2, Furious 7, Aquaman, etc.

In the trailer, Arthur mentions that he’s been unemployed, wanderer and homeless, but he is now a husband and father. However, Black Manta, played by Abdul-Mateen, still wants to avenge his father’s death.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is the fourth DC film to be released this year. Earlier, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, The Flash and Blue Beetle were released.

The movie has been pushed multiple times. First, it was scheduled to release in December 2022, then it got shelved to March 2023. Now, it will finally hit the theatres on December 20. The expectations will be high, especially when Aquaman did exceedingly well at the box office.
