“I felt really inspired by the costumes [Anderson] designed for Luca Guadagnino’s film ‘Queer’, and loved the idea of playing around with menswear—especially with a suit that felt of that era…

Ayo donned a tailored grey wool blazer with matching waistcoat and dramed trousers that was a custom version of a Loewe spring 2025 menswear outfit.
She added: “The shoes were actually a men’s style that they made for me!”
The 29-year-old star chose a make-up look that felt “feminine but in a sharp way”, had her hair coloured red in another nod to Julia and accessorised with a Loewe Puzzle bag and another striking accessory.
She said: “The grill was made by this amazing jeweller, Vanessa, of Mental Gardens, who I’ve loved for a minute.
“I sent Danielle her work and then a meme of this guy singing ‘Silver and Gold,’ because a reference can be anything.”
And though ‘The Bear’ was up for five awards, none of the cast had discussed their outfits in advance.
Ayo said: “We do not text about our outfits, but I also like to be surprised! The men on my show throw some very serious fits down.”
