Big Time Rush Kendall Schmidt is a married man! and an expectant father.
Recently, the Big Time Rush frontman surprised fans with the news he married Mica von Turkovich.
His longtime girlfriend, whom he began dating in 2015.

Although there has been hints for weeks, it’s kind of nice to have confirmation and news of wedding vows wasn’t all they had to share.
They’re expecting their first child together too.

And the response has been incredible, especially from Schmidt’s bandmates.
Among the first to congratulate them was Logan Henderson as he wrote, “So thankful for this little family. Love you.”
While James Maslow kept it short and sweet with just three heart emojis.
But how did it happen?

With one of the world’s most romantic gestures that has the women swooning and men scowling.
And while the proposal resulted in a slight broken promise, the end result was worth it for both of them.
“Kendall promised me a long time ago that he wouldn’t propose to me on stage,” Mica explained.
“He broke his promise just a little bit but I like this promise more. On a stage but just in front of some friends and my sister @gabrielavt. Right where we met 10 years ago. Love you forever @kendallschmidt.”
And the wedding itself?
Unfortunately, the newlyweds haven’t released any details other than that one photo on Instagram,
But fans are no doubt hungry for those details.
Fans hearts break at the marriage news… But they’re still happy for Schmidt.
Meanwhile fans have been showing their support while mourning the loss of their teen heartthrob.
