Marvel fans were met with many exciting cameos if they’ve already been able to see the “Deadpool and Wolverine” movie. Many characters haven’t been on screen in a while, and some have never made their movie debut. One of the characters fans have been most excited to see again is Chris Evans’ adaptation of Johnny Storm. Johnny Storm is the Human Torch and one of the Fantastic Four. Evans played the character in “The Fantastic Four” and “The Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer” in the early 2000s. Evans retired from his famous Marvel role as Steve Rodgers, aka Captain American. While many fans were sad after he departed the title character, Evans left hope for fans to see him in the MCU again. He told the media that he likely wouldn’t return to his Captain America role but would be open to returning to other roles, such as Johnny Storm.
Johnny Storm made his comeback in Deadpool and Wolverine because of Ryan Reynolds, who plays the title character. Reynolds is a good friend of Evans’, and he contacted him about making a cameo in the movie. Evans not only appears in a few scenes in the film but is also the center of the famous end-credit scene. Evans revealed in the end-credit scene that Reynolds offered him cue cards to deliver his complicated yet explicit lines. However, Evans was a quick learner in this case, and he adlibed a lot of the scene. He said he enjoyed being able to do something that is not usually seen in a Marvel movie. Marvel has been full of surprises in this new era; there’s so much we have yet to see.
