Dancing With The Stars is entering its 33rd season. ABC’s popular dance competition show, the American version of the UK’s Strictly Come Dancing, will welcome back Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribiero as co-hosts. Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Hough’s older brother, Derek Hough, will once again make up the judging panel.
Last month, Paris 2024 Olympian Stephen Nedoroscik, better known as “pommel horse guy,” became the first DWTS contestant to be revealed. He will be partnered with newcomer Rylee Arnold. Since then, the rest of the cast has been shown before the season premiere on September 17th.

Fraudster Anna Delvey partnered with Ezra Sosa.
Fans seem excited about the show’s return, except for the addition of one contestant. Many people online are criticizing the show’s choice to allow Anna Delvey to compete. In 2019, Anna Delvey was convicted of defrauding banks and friends out of more than $250,000. Anna gained international attention in 2022 after Netflix released its miniseries Inventing Anna based on her life. Since being released from prison in 2022, Delvey has been under house arrest and now has to wear an ankle monitor. While Anna got permission to compete, many people feel letting her compete is rewarding a criminal. However, DWTS hasn’t commented on the situation, and they seem to stand by their decision to allow Anna to compete in the upcoming season.
