June 13, 2024- Gisou has officially released their new and limited-edition honey-infused lip oil in “Coconut Frost”.
According to Gisou, the new lip product is a tropical coconut scent with a hint of pineapple, a clear crystal shimmer shade, and a new ultra-hydrating formula.

“Coconut Frost” will be the 6th addition to the lip oil collection, behind “Watermelon Sugar,” “Strawberry Sorbet,” “Mango Passion Punch,” “Shimmer Glow”, and “Honey Gold.”
Gisou’s lip oils are over 95 percent natural, according to their official website.
Negin Mirsalehi, Founder of Gisou
Founder Negin Mirsalehi, a 6th generation beekeeper, launched Gisou after realizing how beneficial her family’s homemade honey-infused hair oil was to her hair.
According to Forbes, Mirsalehi turned down a $800,000 payday for a brand ambassadorship with a “major hair-care line”, shortly after launching her own self-funded brand.
Every product from Gisou contains Mirsalehi Honey, which is sustainably sourced from the Mirsalehi Bee Garden in the Netherlands.

One of Gisou’s primary sustainability practices is its Bee-Centered Approach by supporting bee welfare and spreading awareness of the importance of bees.
In an Instagram post, Mirsalehi said “Happy world bee day. Our most memorable family moments have always taken place in our bee garden. A big appreciation to my dad for sharing his passion for bees with us and the world.”

In 2022, Mirsalehi and their husband Maurits Stibbe welcomed their first child, Sam.
Stibbe is the co-founder of Gisou.
In an Instagram post on Monday, Mirsalehi announced her second pregnancy.
“Our little family is growing. Your mom, dad, and big brother can’t wait to meet you,” she said.
