There has reportedly been a motion filed to quash a subpoena, as she is subpoenaed as a material witness. As a result, as one of two survivors of the murders, she may hold “specific information that can sway the outcome of the trial” as mentioned in the TikTok. As mentioned in the video above, if they believe she may not testify or will flee, they can issue a warrant for her arrest and force her to testify. Another reason why they would want Bethany to testify is that it would offset Dylan Mortensen’s testimony.
The decision ultimately lies in the judge’s hands as noted at the end of the TikTok.

University of Idaho Murders
The Idaho murders occurred on November 13, 2022, when 4 University of Idaho students were found murdered in a home. The victims were stabbed multiple times, as mentioned here. Their names were Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin, who did not live at the home with the others, but was dating Kernodle.
On December 30, 2022, Bryan Kohberger (28) was arrested and charged with four counts of murder in relation to the crime.
