Jada Pinkett Smith talks prenup and the promise between her and Will Smith.
Despite Jada Pinkett and Will Smith separating seven years ago, Jada now reveals why she and Will chose not to have a prenup.
And it comes down to a promise the longtime couple made around the time they married in December ’97.
Pinkett revealed that she and Smith vowed that no matter what happened they would not divorce.
“No matter what, we’re going to figure it out, and that’s why we don’t need a prenup,” Pinkett told Parade.
“But at the end of the day, do you have someone at your side that you’re willing to go through tough times with and they’re willing to go through tough times with you? I’m very lucky that I can say, ‘Yes, I have someone that’s willing to do that.’ ”
But is she actually willing? or is there something else going on?
Because Pinkett has seemingly said one thing in her interview with Parade regarding the incident in 2021 saying,
“No matter what, I am here with you. I don’t care what is going on.”
While her interview with Today seems to contradict her.
Watch the video below to hear what Pinkett had to say.
Is Pinkett going back on the promise she made to Will?
Unfortunately, Pinkett is trending on X and not for any good reason.
Because due to a recent interview where she rehashed the infamous “slap” it suggests Pinkett has abandoned Smith.
In fact, Pinkett has come under heavy criticism for her comment, and it does call into question the Parade interview.
People are done with Jada Pinkett.
Moreover, the people are pretty much done with Jada Pinkett, Will Smith’s slap and their relationship.
“Even if it gets to a point where you hate your spouse so much WITH PASSION, I don’t think they deserve humiliation like this. This is her saying Will Smith is disgusting and irritates her..I really feel for Will but he caused this tbh,” @Views09 wrote.
While @REALSGLL wondered if Pinkett just liked the fame that came with the man.
“Can we stop seeing post about her ?, we don’t care about their relationship and she’s not relevant, she does only when she does all this interview that involve will smith.”
Could “No matter what, we’re going to figure it out” not mean anything anymore?
And perhaps a lifetime promise has been broken. What would that mean for Pinkett and Smith going forward?
