One month after impromptu eloping to Las Vegas, the couple exchanged vows over a three-day party for friends and family at Affleck’s 87-acre riverfront house outside Savannah.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck tied the knot for a second time on Saturday in a lavish ceremony at the actor’s enormous Georgia mansion. Jay Shetty, a well-known life coach, officiated the ceremony, and Lopez wore a custom Ralph Lauren gown created in Italy.
Affleck was seen climbing the home’s grand outdoor staircase to Lopez, who was waiting at the top wearing a simple, strapless white dress while wearing pants, a tan shirt, and what appeared to be a bag over his shoulder. They then appeared to kiss each other.
The celebration seemed to have a white theme. From afternoon onwards, several guests arrived in white Old Savannah Tour trolley buses, while others drove up in black SUVs and handed what appeared to be invitations to the guards. The white playing cards appeared to depict a drawing of a bird with spread wings.
Over the open, outside seating area, which had a white floor and a white piano, white flowers with long trails of green leaves cascaded. While Lopez and Affleck marched down a walkway that had been constructed on the property, their children assisted them in carrying the flowing dress.
According to the Daily Mail, authorities established a three-mile no-fly zone over the extravagant wedding venue, a plantation-style home. According to the publication, a three-mile radius around the property was designated as a no-fly zone.
After rekindling their romance after their initial 2002–2004 relationship, the couple announced their engagement in April of last year. On July 16, they were married in a small ceremony at A Little White Wedding Chapel in Sin City.
Lopez revealed last month in her On the JLo newsletter that she and Affleck married at A Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, writing that the late-night ceremony was “exactly what we wanted.”
