Joe Alwyn makes his first public appearance on Tuesday in France since his break up with Taylor Swift. Alwyn attends the dinner hosted by Celine artistic director Hedi Slimane in STYLE! The British actor steps out of the 76th annual Cannes Film Festival at the Hotel du Cap-Eden–Roc in a silky black suit. Underneath his jacket, Alwyn rocks a white tank top with a pink Celine button-down shirt layered over. He accessorizes with a gold chain, black rounded shades, and black dress shoes.

Before the dinner, Joe Alwyn poses on a balcony in the same outfit. Although he appears to be calm and collected, a source told Daily Mail, ‘Joe feels slighted and is distraught after seeing her budding relationship with Matt, but is doing his best to keep busy and focus on himself’. Joe Alwyn denies any overlap in dating between Taylor Swift and Matt Healy. But ‘Joe was aware that Taylor and Matt were making music together and collaborating. She told him that they had become friends and he trusted her.’

As Joe Alwyn is navigating his way through the break-up, Taylor Swift gushes to her audience Saturday, May 20th, “I kind of feel like telling you — I don’t know — I’ve just never been this happy in my life, in all aspects of my life ever before.” The ex-lovers are clearly on different pages.
