Kate Middleton Altered Photo Mothers Day

As speculation continues to surround Princess of Wales Kate Middleton, she is at the center of another controversy after agencies pull her Mothers Day photo following the admission that the photo was altered. Kate Middleton’s Mothers Day photo showed her smiling along with her three children but she has since apologized and admitted that the photo was altered.

The editing concerns arose because of the way Princess Charlotte’s arm didn’t line up with her sleeve in the image, the misaligned pattern on Prince Louis’ sleeve and the way that Prince George’s arms are placed around his mother’s shoulders. Due to the edits, AP, Reuters and other photo agencies removed the photo and asked clients to delete it.

In the apology Kate Middleton does not specify how the photo was altered but a post on her and Prince William’s X account stated “Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing,” Catherine said. Adding, “I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mothers Day, C.’

The post was signed off with the letter ‘C’, illustrating that the post came from Kate Middleton herself. This comes on the heels of rumors swirling last week that an image taken of Kate Middleton in the car with her mother, may not have actually been of Kate Middleton. As the Princess of Wales tries to recover from abdominal surgery peacefully at home, she has been at the center on relentless gossip and speculation.

Kate Middleton is due to start making public appearances after Easter at the end of this month.
