Kellie Pickler’s husband, and American country songwriter, Kyle Jacobs, has tragically been found dead in the couple’s home due to an apparent suicide- according to details shared in this article.
According to the article, on Friday, the Nashville Police Department confirmed the songwriter had been found “deceased.” Jacobs was 49. Police stated, “His death is being investigated as an apparent suicide.”
Pickler reportedly told police that she woke up shortly before but couldn’t find Jacobs. According to the police statement, Pickler and her personal assistant called the police after they couldn’t open the door to a room in the house.
Jacobs had recently taken to Instagram to celebrate Lee Brice’s fifth studio album Hey World on the social media platform, shortly before he was found dead.

Jacobs also worked with artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Josh Kelley, and Clay Walker during his career, in which he also won a CMA Award, an ACM Award, and was nominated for a Grammy Award.
