Empowering women with the help of training, entrepreneurship and mentorship programs. 

Luxury beauty brand, Lancôme, is pleased to announce a partnership with the Canadian Women’s Foundation, which is officially launching on April 19th, 2021.  The Canadian Women’s Foundation is a national leader in helping better the lives of women through areas such as funding, research, advocacy and knowledge sharing. Additionally, Lancôme has championed care as one of its core values since the brand’s inception over 85 years ago, making this the ideal partnership all around.

At Lancôme we are committed to helping empower women across the globe and are proud to launch this important initiative in Canada” says Cammie Guest, General Manager of Lancôme Canada. “We are honoured to partner with the Canadian Women’s Foundation, who will support us on our journey to help better the lives of many Canadian women.” 

This dynamic partnership will aim to help women achieve economic stability through skills training, mentorship, and self-employment programs, allowing them to develop practical ideas for small businesses, write business plans, and build a strong network. Many of the programs will also give women the opportunity to launch their own business by giving them access to finding a mentor and loaning them funds. 

Throughout the duration of the partnership, 2% of the proceeds from Lancôme’s best selling products on lancôme.ca such as; La Vie Est Belle Eau De Parfum, Advanced Génifique Youth Activating Serum, and Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation will also be donated to the Canadian Women’s Foundation as a way of giving back. In order to inspire other people and organizations to transform their communities, Lancôme will also highlight key giving moments throughout the year as well as special occasions dedicated to women as part of their generosity movement. 

 This partnership also comes as a pillar of Lancôme’s global sustainability program entitled “Caring Together for a Happier Tomorrow” which outlines the brand’s ambitions to foster sustainability and social inclusion through its ongoing practices. The brand recognizes that global transformation is pivotal and in doing so has made a commitment through three pillars under this program:

  • Write Her Future


Since the program’s launch in 2017, it has helped over 23,000 women across 13 countries with the support of local non-profits. The ultimate goal is to reach 50,000 beneficiaries by 2022.

As a result, Write Her Future will evidently allow Lancôme to empower women to write their own futures and achieve their own happiness.
