Martha Stewart Sports Illustrated Cover

At the age of 81, Martha Stewart is one of the four cover appearances for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s 2023 issue, SI writes here.

Alongside Brooks Nader, Megan Fox, and Kim Petras, Martha Stewart appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated wearing a white swimsuit and a golden jacket. The photoshoot took place in the Dominican Republic. According to CNN, the businesswoman is the oldest celebrity model to appear on a Sports Illustrated cover.

Martha Stewart Today Show

On Monday, May 15, the businesswoman joined Today Show where she talked about the experience of being photographed by Ruven Afanador for the cover of Sports Illustrated.

“I like that picture.” Martha said during the show. “When I heard that I was going to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, I thought, ‘Oh, that’s pretty good, I’m going to be the oldest person I think ever on a cover of Sports Illustrated. And I don’t think about age very much, but I thought that this is kind of historic.” she added, mentioning that she had been invited to appear on the cover of SI Swimsuit back in November 2022.

“I didn’t starve myself, but I didn’t eat any bread or pasta for a couple of months. I went to Pilates every other day and that was great; I’m still going to Pilates every other day ’cause it’s so great. And I just, I live a clean life anyway – good diet and good exercise and healthy skincare and all of that stuff.” Stewart continued.

“Martha Stewart is continuing to make her mark — this time on the cover of the 2023 SI Swimsuit issue!” Sports Illustrated Swimsuit tweeted.
