As mentioned in the TikTok video, over this past weekend alone several small TikTok creators have come forward claiming that Matilda Djerf designs have reportedly issued copyright strikes against their content. The strikes allegedly fall under TikTok’s IP violations, which means the videos get taken down and as a result, sometimes the creators’ accounts get stippled. Content being taken down all seems to have a common thread- in this case it’s seemingly sharing a dupe or alternative to Djerf Avenue pieces or pieces of clothing Matilda has worn. Djerf Avenue is Matilda’s brand.
Since these videos started coming out, Matilda has allegedly deactivated her personal TikTook account and Djerf Avenue posted a post on social media referencing a statement.

As a result, in order to protect their designs they hired an external firm which has in turn affected individual creators – instead of the brands creating these similar designs. Many people are satisfied with the statement although others have called out instances regarding Matilda and recent experiences.
