January 9, 2025 – Cheerleader and Nursing Student, Miss Alabama Abbie Stockard wins Miss America 2025.
As Miss Alabama, Abbie Stockard won the 2025 Miss America Pageant last Sunday. She received her crown in a glittering white dress, shocked at the news.
On the day of the finale, Stockard posted the following on her Instagram. “As I step into this evening, I am filled with excitement, honor, and gratitude.” Little did she know that a few hours later, she would be crowned Miss America.
“This is insane,” she reported in a video on Miss America’s Instagram. “I don’t know what I did to deserve this.”
She triumphed over the 51 other contestants, each with a unique story to tell. Miss America’s first runner-up, Miss Texas Annette Addo-Yobo wholeheartedly congratulated Stockard in a heartwarming display when the results were announced.

Walker Kessler’s Girlfriend Becomes Miss America 2025
According to Style, Abbie Stockard is an ex-cheerleader and Nursing Student at Auburn University and the girlfriend of Walker Kessler, the Utah Jazz basketball player.
“I am so proud of you and everything you stand for.” Turning to his Instagram, Kessler congratulated Stockard with loving words. “Use your light to shine on others around you! Love you.”
