Police confirmed the recovered body is Nicola Bulley.
According to this new article, it has been confirmed that Nicola Bulley’s body was the one police found and recovered in the river recently.

Nicola Bulley went missing 24 days ago when she was out walking her dog. During an investigation into the surrounding area where she went missing, police recovered a body in the river Wyre that has now been confirmed to belong to the mother-of-two, Nicola Bulley.

Police located the body in Lancashire, around a mile from where she was last seen walking her dog.

A statement from the family has been released. An excerpt from it can be found below as mentioned here:
“We will never forget Nikki, how could we, she was the centre of our world, she was the one who made our lives so special and nothing will cast a shadow over that. Our girls will get the support they need from the people who love them the most.”
Bulley was a mom of two to two girls, ages six and nine.
When addressing the public, Assistant Chief Constable Peter Lawson said as noted here:
“Sadly, we are now able to confirm that yesterday we recovered Nicola Bulley from the River Wyre. Nicola’s family have been informed and are of course devastated. Our thoughts are with them at this time as well as with all her loved ones and the wider community. We recognise the huge impact that Nicola’s disappearance has had on her family and friends, but also on the people of St Michael’s. We would like to thank all of those who have helped during what has been a hugely complex and highly emotional investigation. Today’s development is not the outcome any of us would have wanted, but we hope that it can at least start to provide some answers for Nicola’s loved ones, who remain foremost in our thoughts.”
Was Nicola Bulley murdered
Now that Bulley’s body has been recovered and identified, police will continue their search into what happened to the mom of two. The body will likely be investigated for signs of what led to or caused the incident. Nothing in regards to what happened to Nicola’s body being found in the river has been confirmed, as of yet.
