January 24, 2025: Paris Hilton rescued her foster dog, Zuzu, amid the devastating Los Angeles wildfires, and now the Chihuahua mix is “sliving her best life.”

 

Zuzu Finds a Forever Home After the Wildfires

 

The 43-year-old socialite welcomed Zuzu into her home after the Pasadena Humane Society took care of her following the loss of Zuzu’s original owners’ home in the fires.

Zuzu quickly adapted to Hilton’s household and will stay with them permanently.

Hilton, who coined the term “sliving” (a combination of “slaying” and “living”), posted a heartfelt video on Instagram, showing her and Zuzu cruising through Beverly Hills with the wind in Zuzu’s ears. Hilton shared that they have “all fallen in love with her.”

The video, soundtracked by Weezer’s “Beverly Hills,” included the caption, “Zuzu is #Sliving her best life @hiltonpets. So grateful to have met this angel at @pasadenahumane. We have all fallen in love with her.”

Hilton urged LA animal lovers to support the Humane Society, highlighting the many animals in need of homes. She added, “To all the LA animal lovers out there, please reach out to them if you can—there are so many adorable animals in need of a loving home.”

She also included the caption across the clip: “POV: Your new foster mom is Paris Hilton, and the main character’s energy is kicking in.”

Despite losing her Malibu beach house in the wildfires, Paris continues to urge others to care for displaced animals.

She shared with TMZ, “To everyone who can connect with the Humane Society in Pasadena, there are animal shelters all over to volunteer, to foster, and fall in love with these animals who are so beautiful, they deserve homes, and everyone can do their part in some way.”

When asked about rebuilding her home, Hilton said, “Carter will be dealing with all that.”

Paris also shared that the wildfires’ efforts have left an impact on her young son, Phoenix. Speaking with Phoenix in her arms, she revealed, “He wants to be a fireman.”
