Rebel Wilson opened up about meeting the Duchess of Sussex. How was their first encounter?

In a recent interview on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Rebel Wilson talked about her and her mother’s experience meeting Meghan Markle. According to DailyMail, the actress confessed that Meghan ‘wasn’t as naturally warm’. “Meghan was not as cool. She wasn’t as naturally warm,” the actress, 43, said during the interview. As for Prince Harry, Wilson thought he ‘could not have been nicer.’

As the star continued with the story, she acknowledged that the Duchess’s behavior might have been a response to Wilson’s mother asking “slightly rude” questions. Hearing her mother, Sue Bownds, asking Meghan questions such as “‘Where are your kids?’” Rebel quickly intervened. “And I’m like, ‘Mom, don’t ask her that,’” she recalled telling her mother.

‘Maybe that’s why she was like, “Who are these annoying convicts from Australia?” the actress added as she was trying to explain the context of their encounter.

The story did not go unnoticed. People posted their reactions and critiques on social media shortly after Wilson’s interview went public. “Talking about Meghan Markle negatively because she doesn’t respond to rude questions?” wrote one Twitter user.
