A Magical Disneyland Proposal

In the photos Rebel Wilson shared via her Instagram, the couple could be seen wearing matching sweaters in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle, surrounded by flower petals.

In one of the photos, Wilson showed off her fiancee’s engagement ring, a silver band with a modest-sized diamond. The ring was reportedly purchased from Tiffany & Co. Just a moment before the sweet proposal, Wilson and her girlfriend were enjoying churros together.

Wilson, who has been in a relationship with Ramona Agruma since June of last year, shared that she thought she “was looking for a Disney Prince” but admitted that maybe what she really needed “was a Disney Princess”. The reference to a prince and a princess is very clever, considering that Wilson used to date American businessman and entrepreneur Jacob Busch before splitting up in February 2021.

Rebel Wilson publicly came out in June 2022, a year and a few months before she welcomed a baby girl, Royce Lillian, via gestational surrogate in November. While Wilson and her future wife are happy being a couple, but unfortunately Agruma’s family is not as welcoming. Wilson said in a podcast that Agruma’s family “has not been as accepting” as her own family and thus it was initially challenging for the two to make their relationship public. The Australian star also said that she hopes “people will change their attitudes about things.” Agruma is the founder of Lemon Ve Limon, a clothing brand based in Los Angeles.

As noted by Yahoo Entertainment, Wilson “has never felt 100% straight”. Although Wilson has dated a number of guys, she didn’t quite click with any of them, and neither did she find a guy she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. However, after Wilson did a same-sex kiss for a scene in The Almond and the Seahorse, she found the encouragement she needed to start exploring her sexuality. Wilson, who stars in Senior Year, has also expressed her happiness at finding Agruma, saying that she is “lucky” to be with a partner she feels romantically connected to.
