According to this article, French Instagram stunt Remi Lucidi fell from the 68th floor of a Hong Kong skyscraper and died last week. As The South China Morning Post initially noted, Lucidi fell from the 721-foot-tall Tregunter Tower on Thursday.
According to Sky News, the 30-year-old tried to ask for help before falling from the tower. Following the accident, the police were called by a maid working in the building. In addition, the French Instagram star had his video camera with him – the same camera he used to record all of his stunts.

As Sky News added, a source addressed the tragic accident to The South China Morning Post.
“A preliminary investigation suggested the man was an extreme sports enthusiast,” the person said. “It is possible that he got trapped outside the penthouse while practicing an extreme sport in the building, and he knocked on the window for help, but accidentally fell to his death.” it was added.
According to news, Remi entered the building on Thursday and gained access by telling the guard that he was going to visit a friend at the 40th floor. Per New York Post, a guard tried to stop Lucidi from entering the building after the supposed friend denied knowing the Instagram star.

Prior to his death, Lucidi talked to several people at the hostel he stayed at in Hong Kong. “He told me he was going to hike a mountain when I asked where he was going. He said he wanted to hike a lot when he was here,” a hostel worker said, as noted by New York Post.
“He was healthy and fit and happy-faced. I feel very sad.” Gurjit Kaur, the hostel’s owner, confessed.
