Sagrada Familia History
Located in Barcelona, Spain, the Sagrada Familia has reportedly been under construction since the 1880s, and it is almost finally complete. Supposedly, construction started in 1882 and it has been under construction ever since. According to this TkToker, it allegedly took so long to construct because it is almost entirely privately funded. It is also very ornate, detailed, and complex- both outside and inside.
Antoni Gaudi Sagrada Familia
Even though multiple generations have waited a long time for it to be finished, it is alleged that our generation will actually get to see its completion. It is expected to be done with construction in 2026. As well, it will be completed to honor the passing of Antoni Gaudi, who passed away in 1926 while he was overseeing construction. He was the architect of this building.
