Bollywood stars Shahid Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit gear up to add a touch of glamour to the grand opening of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI).

This prestigious event, scheduled to commence on [date], promises to be a celebration of cinematic excellence, and the presence of these two iconic actors is sure to elevate the festivities to unprecedented heights.

Shahid Kapoor, known for his versatile acting skills and charismatic screen presence, has carved a niche for himself in the Indian film industry. Madhuri Dixit, often referred to as the “Dhak Dhak Girl,” is a timeless beauty and a legendary actress in the realm of Indian cinema. Having graced the silver screen with iconic performances in movies such as “Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!” and “Devdas,” Dixit continues to captivate hearts with her grace and elegance. Her presence at the opening of IFFI is expected to be nothing short of spectacular, as she adds a touch of classic Bollywood charm to the festivities.

The opening ceremony of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa promises a dazzling blend of glamour and artistry. Headlined by Shahid Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit, the star-studded event will feature Shriya Saran, Nushrratt Bharuccha, and Pankaj Tripathi. Musical maestros Shantanu Moitra, Shreya Ghoshal, and Sukhwinder Singh will add a melodic touch. Hosted by Aparshakti Khurana and Karishma Tanna at the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium, the festival, spanning from November 20 to 28, is set to be a celebration of cinematic excellence and cultural diversity. Get ready for a week of magic, music, and storytelling in the scenic backdrop of Goa.

At the ceremony Madhuri Dixit is set to recreate a medley of her chartbusters, adding a nostalgic and vibrant touch to the upcoming International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. She shares with the actor and said-  “Cinema has given me so much, it’s time to give something back in return. What better way to do so than through song and dance which is integral to not just Indian cinema, but Indian culture as well”. Meanwhile, Shahid will perform on his hit numbers. “Performing in front of a live audience is something I’ve truly loved ever since I can remember… Thanks to IFFI I get to do that one more time in Goa,” (also noted here).

Nushrratt Bharuccha is all set to celebrate The India Story through her performance, while Shriya will take the stage with a medley, including Tamil song “Allegra Allegra,” Kannada chartbuster “Ra Ra Rakkamma,” Malayalam hit “Kalapakkaara,” and “Show Me The Thumka.”

At the opening ceremony, Karan Johar and Sara Ali Khan, along with the team of “Ae Watan Mere Watan,” will unveil the first look of the drama-thriller. Sukhwinder will lend his soulful voice to the film’s title track during the showcase. Pankaj Tripathi, Shantanu Moitra, Shreya Ghoshal, and Taba Chake will step into the spotlight to introduce the crime thriller “Kadak Singh,” directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury. (here)

For the closing ceremony, Ayushmann Khurrana and music composer Amit Trivedi will take center stage. Ayushmann is set to deliver an energetic performance, paying tribute to Michael Douglas, the recipient of the Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award.

Amit Trivedi will curate a special rendition of the Sounds of Bharat, featuring a medley of his superhit songs. Adding a patriotic touch, the ‘Harmony of the Pines’ orchestra from the Himachal Pradesh police will present a specially curated performance, resonating with nationalistic fervor. These performances are in harmony with the festival’s theme, ‘India through the movies,’ portraying the unity and diversity of our rich culture.
