There’s been speculation around whether or not Taylor Swift would make a documentary of ‘The Eras Tour’ like she did her last tour (‘Reputation’). Now we can put the rumors to rest; Taylor Swift will be releasing a film titled ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour‘ later this year!
Saying ‘The Eras Tour’ concert tickets have been extremely difficult to get a hold of would be a huge understatement; so this is good news for the many fans who didn’t get the chance to see the show live!

But it seems like getting tickets for ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ might come with its own challenges as well. Though they won’t cost $20,000 each, tickets for the film are definitely in high demand!
‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ has shattered AMC Theaters’ box-office record for single-day presale tickets; earning $26 million in its first 24 hours.
The film that previously held the record is one of the highest grossing film of all time, ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home‘, whose highest single-day earning was $16.9 million.
Remember, this record-breaking number does not include the tickets sold by other movie theater chains showing the film. To put things further into perspective, this means ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ has outsold every Warner Brothers, Universal and Disney film ever made!
What can we say; from crashing Ticketmaster to causing an earthquake the Swifties always come through hard for Taylor. The theaters are sure to be packed so make sure you get your tickets soon! ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ will be released in theaters on October 13th, 2023.
