Krasinski played Jim in the original US-based series, The Office, alongside castmates Steve Carell (Michael Scott), Rainn Wilson (Dwight), and Jenna Fischer (Pam)- among others. A reboot of the popular series was reportedly picked up by Peacock. Allegedly, a blind item states that Krasinski supposedly claimed that there would be “no cameos and no participation” at all from him in the latest version of the show. As noted in this related article, the new series revival will reportedly shift the stories’ setting to another struggling newspaper in the same universe.
Now, nothing has been confirmed involving this alleged blind item claim- and it is not certain if any of the original cast will make an appearance on the reboot of the show so it looks like we will just have to tune in to see what happens.
