The Real Housewives of Atlanta fans finally saw why Kenya Moore was kicked from the show and it involved a photo controversy.
In true The Real Housewives of Atlanta-fashion, the last episode was full on drama. But this time, things may have gotten too out of hand.
Episode 5 of Season 16 aired on Peacock April 7th and was titled “About Last Night”. It was the episode many fans had been waiting for, as it finally showed the moment blogs had been gushing about since March. Real Housewife-star Kenya Moore got booted from the show, and viewers finally got to see why.
Kenya Moore Brit Eady
In “About Last Night” longtime Atlanta-star Moore organized an opening party for her new store Kenya Moore Hair Spa. Attending the party was rookie cast member Brit Eady. Since the beginning of the season, Moore and Eady had been on bad terms, entering a feud.
Intending to apologize during Moore’s party, Eady arrived with flowers and a card, ready to put the past behind her. Unfortunately, Moore had no such plans. She fiercely rejected Eady’s apology, saying, “I’m gonna pay you dust.”
Kenya Moore Photo Scandal
To add a cherry on top of the already drama-filled episode, Moore brought the Housewives together to unveil a posterboard filled with explicit photos. It showed various pictures of Eady, some blurred out, and one of Eady performing oral sex. The other women were scandalised, saying Moore had gone much too far. One of Moore’s friends on the show, veteran member Cynthia Bailey, expressed her disappointment in Moore: “I’m getting to know Brit, but I know you. I really hate that you let that in this way. I think you’re bigger than this, and I think you’re better than this.”
The tension-filled episode ended with an announcement stating: “Based on Kenya’s behavior, the decision was made to cease filming with her this season.”
