According to this TikTok video posted by user @therealkatherine, the latest Wizards Of Waverly Place sequel was just announced and people are eager to learn what this new Disney Channel series will be about.

Wizards Of Waverly Place Sequel
As the TikTok video claims, Selena Gomez and David Henrie- who played Alex and Justin Russo, respectively, on the original Wizards Of Waverly Place series, are seemingly joining forces to executively produce the new sequel.
Selena Gomez will actually guest star in the pilot while David Henrie will be a series regular so it looks like Justin and Alex Russo will be back on our screens again- hopefully soon!

Henrie took to Instagram to showcase some behind-the-scenes shots of the sequel, exciting fans.
However, David DeLuise, who played Jerry Russo in the original series, commented “Reboot ?” on Henrie’s post, leading fans to believe that he wasn’t aware or part of the upcoming sequel.
We don’t know for sure if DeLuise- or any of the other original cast members- were made aware of the sequel or if they will also star in it. Looks like we will have to wait and tune in to see what happens.
