In the TikTok video, Swift can be seen giving out the 22 Hat to a fan in Glendale, Arizona. However, the interaction- compared to the other 22 Hat nights- seemed brief. Swift handed the fan the hat and then got back into performing the show.

In the below TikTok video showcasing Swift’s closing night in Vancouver, Night 3, Swift can be seen handing the fan the hat and hugging her. They also exchange words and high-fives before Swift gets back into formation to continue her performance.

Some have claimed that the first night of the 22 Hat was “awkward,” however, fans have called out the fact that Swift had just started her worldwide tour and may not have been totally comfortable yet with the segment.
However, once she began performing more, she seemingly became more comfortable with her fans and was able to have longer interactions with them on stage. As a result, this could be why there are some differences between the two interactions.
