For Ryan, he broke the news via social media, with the video attached of his reaction to Steve Page’s song titled ‘Canada Loves You Back’ a tribute to him being one of the top 3 Canadian Ryans.

The song brought Ryan to tears as he was compared to William Shatner and Alex Trebek, two Canadian legends that Ryan can officially be associated with. Ryan has done a lot in Canada and has shown the world that he is proud to be Canadian. As Vancouver is his hometown and has been going through a disaster, Ryan donated to the Canadian Red Cross and has asked fans to help out too.

Ryan is a devoted Canadian, even though he owns an American Gin company and is married to one of America’s most gorgeous women. Ryan is comedic gold and Canada is proud to give him this honour for the love he pours into our country.

He tweeted “I’m glad I don’t have to be dead to experience something like this. I’m so beyond touched right now. I recommend making a list of people you appreciate, then immediately telling them.” I am sure Ryan has a long list of family, friends and Canadians that he can definitely thank right now, and we can definitely expect more laughs and jokes to come out of this.
