There is not much that you need to begin your adventure of looking good and feeling good. These clothing items and instructions are suitable regardless of your weight, height and bank account. Here’s a beginner’s guide to help you finally feel fabulous!

You need to own a pair of shoes of only two colours: Black, and white.
The Nike Air Force 1’s are more on the expensive side but are worth it as you can wear them with any outfit. These cost around $135 CAD.
The white Chuck Taylor All-Star High Tops are half the price of the Air Force 1’s and provide a casual look for your outfits.
Next up is to decide what you will pull up with on the legs. Essentially, the most important thing is to start off with skinny jeans in two colours, along with a pair of skinny khaki chinos. You could also go with the “super-skinny” option, which I found to look cleaner.
This pair of ripped jeans are from Hollister, currently at $37 CAD. Abercrombie and Fitch have the same or similar jeans but will be more expensive. Black is the best colour to wear with almost anything and everything.
The light blue ripped jeans should primarily be worn in dark colours, and it helps you stand out from the audience. These are from Hollister at $45 CAD.
The pair of dark khakis is a bit more adventurous, and if you feel like stepping out of the jeans, these are your best option. These are from Hollister and cost $45 CAD.

When it comes to the tops, all you need are a couple of plain shirts, some flannels couple of polos, and a few bomber jackets to rock with the pants above.
A long plain white t-shirt is a key item in your closet, as you can rock this with a flannel or a bomber jacket. At H&M, this is only $12.99 CAD.

Flannel is another essential item needed in your closet, as this can be worn at a more formal event like a birthday as well. There are different colours available, you just have to pick what catches your attention! This is from Abercrombie & Fitch at $75. Cheaper options can be found at Walmart, H&M, and Hollister. The A&F fit I found to be the best.
The black bomber jacket can be worn with a black shirt and khakis, or light blue ripped jeans and a black shirt. This is from Zara at $79.90 CAD. Depending on the time of the year, you could get it cheaper from H&M. There are also other colours available that you can play with.
