According to People, as Rust‘s shooting continues, Alec Baldwin was seen filming one scene in Paradise Valley, Montana on Friday. As noted in the article, prior to the shooting, Baldwin and his family were spotted having dinner in Montana. “They were in a good mood. They seem in good spirits.” a source told People.

The actor was seen on the movie set three days after criminal charges against him were dropped, as HOLR mentions here.

Back in 2021, while filming a scene for Rust, a gun that Baldwin was holding accidentally discharged, shot, and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. After the tragic incident, both Alec Baldwin and former armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed were charged with involuntary manslaughter.

Earlier this week, charges against the actor were dropped, as his two attorneys told People. “We are pleased with the decision to dismiss the case against Alec Baldwin and we encourage a proper investigation into the facts and circumstances of this tragic accident.” they stated.

In February 2023, news announced that Rust’s production is set to continue. However, the producers of the movie announced that no ammunition or weapons will be allowed on the set. The movie production “will continue to utilize union crew members and will bar any use of working weapons and any form of ammunition. Live ammunition is — and always was — prohibited on set,” an official statement read.
