TIJN prides itself on being a brand that supports Ocean Conservancy, a 501(c)3 nonprofit company that works to protect the ocean. This mission ultimately inspired a product collection, called Blue Journey, made from bio-based materials. By 2021, over half of the brand’s product range is eco-friendly. This year, the brand is dedicated to making an even larger impact by integrating the “Low Plastic, Low Carbon” initiative, aimed at reducing plastic and carbon consumption. 

Sustainability is embedded in the brand. Therefore, this new initiative will be introduced into its production processes in order to contribute to the brand’s continued path to sustainability. 

TIJN is on a mission to keep developing eco-friendly practices into their everyday operations. As a result, TIJN contributes 5% of profits to sustainability and integrates processes such as utilizing recyclable yarn to create clothing and apparel, into its ongoing operations. In fact, the brand is looking to re-evaluate its success in the year 2025 in order to introduce new goals that are in line with maintaining an eco-friendly working environment.
