What is Bella’s illness?

Bella Hadid has been privately undergoing treatment for Lyme Disease. What’s more, on August 6, Vogue had reported that a root canal surgery had prompted a “flare-up” of her Lyme disease diagnosis.

In addition, Hadid said, “The little me that suffered would be so proud of grown me for not giving up on myself ??.”

“Living in this state, worsening with time and work while trying to make myself, my family, and the people who support me, proud, had taken a toll on me in ways I can’t really explain.”

And then added, “To be that sad and sick with the most blessings/privilege/opportunity/love around me was quite possibly the most confusing thing ever.” See the full post here.

More importantly, Bella wrote: “Thankful to my mommy for keeping all of my medical records, sticking by me, never leaving my side, protecting, supporting, but most of all, believing me through all of this.”

Does Lyme disease go away?

In brief, Lyme disease is caused by infection with the bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi.

However, the CDC website on the disease say it can be cured.

Online Sources say, “most cases of Lyme disease can be cured with a course of oral antibiotics.”

“Patients can have symptoms of pain and fatigue that can last for more than 6 months.”

How did Lyme disease affect Bella Hadid?

Previously, Hadid had been first diagnosed with the disease in 2012. “For three years, she said, I would wake up every morning hysterical, in tears, alone.”

Bella admitted she carried some guilt for feeling as she did, despite the situation not being her fault.

Bella’s family without a doubt, would not want to be anywhere else, but by her side through this.

The fashion model said, “One thing I want to express to you is that 1: I am okay, she said.”

Adding, “I don’t want you to worry.”

Second, “I wouldn’t change anything for the world.”

Despite the pain Bella has endured, she wanted her fans to know she has grown stronger for it.

“If I had to go through all of this again, to get here, to this exact moment I’m in right now, with all of you, finally healthy, I would do it all again.”

Hadid continued by saying, “It made me who I am today.”

Bella concluded her post with a heartfelt message with love to all who have supported her.

“I’ll be back when I’m ready. I miss you all so much. I love you all so much.”
