Allegedly, the blind item claims an actor was double-crossed by a lover which is how he ended up losing out on a huge project. Reportedly, no noise was made about this because it would’ve revealed a supposed “big, hidden secret.” This blind item is allegedly referring to Jake Gyllenhaal and Bradley Cooper.
Cooper has recently been rumored to be part of the LGBTQ community, in which fans have taken to the comment section of the above TikTok video to speculate if he has been linked to other actors.
Is Bradley Cooper playing Leonard Bernstein?
The internet is swirling right now with news that Cooper stole the Leonard Berstein role from Gyllenhaal, who is half-Jewish. As noted here, the pair supposedly went head-to-head for the musical rights in 2018 in which Cooper ended up getting the role to play Bernstein, the iconic composer, and, subsequently, his project won the musical rights. Cooper has also allegedly been accused of being anti-Semitic for supposedly “taking” the role from Gyllenhaal.
So, although there is no concrete evidence linking Cooper and Gyllenhaal as “lovers,” this blind item raises some interesting questions.
