Hudson works as an agent at the Creative Arts Agency, a Los Angeles-based talent company that boasts an impressive roster of clients. He has been with the agency since around 2014 and also represents stars such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Bella Thorne, and Johnny Knoxville, according to Celebrity Service. Before that, he worked as a publicist at Full Picture, a marketing and brand management firm that serves clients in fashion, entertainment, and other industries.

Hudson has been a friend of Spears for decades and has been a constant presence in her inner circle. Although he keeps a relatively low profile on social media, he and Spears have been photographed together from time to time. In 2014, he was pictured giving Spears a kiss on the cheek, in 2015 the two were seen dancing together, and in 2017, Spears was spotted at Hudson’s birthday celebration.

Hudson became Spears’ manager in 2021 after her former manager, Larry Rudolph, resigned from the position after 25 years. Hudson’s appointment came shortly after Spears publicly stated that she wanted to end her 13-year conservatorship under her father Jamie Spears.
Hudson faced allegations of sexual misconduct in 2017 when an actor accused him of offering sex in exchange for access to directors and a movie star in 2013. Text messages obtained by the Los Angeles Times showed Hudson offering to perform oral sex on the actor, who declined and later described feeling “embarrassed and humiliated”. Hudson denied the accusations.
Hudson has been an outspoken advocate for Spears throughout her conservatorship battle, publicly expressing his support for her on social media and in interviews.
